NSAA Winter Season Guidelines

Circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic are constantly changing and the circumstances vary from community to community. Difficult decisions will have to be made from week to week or even day to day. The health and safety of students, staff, and local communities remain the priority of the NSAA as we provide opportunities to participate in the winter sports season.

Each school has the authority to determine if it will participate in the 2020-21 Winter Season. During the season it will be the responsibility of the host school to provide administrative oversight in compliance with established COVID-19 guidelines in accordance with their local health departments and facilities.

These guidelines were updated on November 13, 2020.

Virtual Veterans Day Celebration

Become a Driver's Ed Instructor

 

We are looking for instructors in the Chadron-area. As the flyer indicates, the cost associated with the Driver Education Endorsement will be reimbursed by the NSC after a commitment to teach for the Center. Classes will be scheduled so they complement the instructors' professional and personal schedules. The salary for driver education instruction is quite competitive.

Nebraska statistics bare out that driver education is imperative for young and inexperienced motorists. While teens make up 7% of all licensed drivers in the state, they account for 21% of all reported automobile crashes.

Winter Sports Parent Meeting - Nov. 9th

 

We have scheduled our Winter Sports Parents Meeting for Monday Nov. 9th 6:30 pm 

General session - Will be in the Auditorium, with break out sessions for each 

individual sports to follow in the classrooms.
