Chadron High School Math Club Competes at the West River Math contest at the School of Mines in Rapid City. The team has been practicing before and after school since February. The rules of the contest do not allow a calculator which gives advanced students another approach from that used in the regular classroom. The Chadron team competed strongly with the following results:
Algebra I: 1st place - Abby Hyer
Geometry: 1st place - Hunter Hawk
Algebra II: 1st place - Coy Bila
Advanced Math: 4th place - Walt Mays
