Congratulations to the Chadron FFA members that competed Wednesday at the WNCC FFA District Contest.
Winning first place in Livestock Evaluation and qualifying for the state competition was the team of Beu Jersild, Drew Jersild, Cody Madsen, Kyle Garrett, Lanie Reisen and Kane Welnitz. They were also first in the categories of Horse and Beef.
The Horticulture Team consisting of Mikayla Koerber, Toni Doescher, Murphy Churchill, Greta Welch, Brooke Roes placed 9th out of 14 teams. The individual ribbon winners were Greta Welch with a Red ribbon and Murphy Churchill with a white ribbon and Brooke Roes with a white ribbon.
The welding team faired well also. Ashley Dodge won a blue ribbon by finishing 4th overall and Sylissa Jennings earned a white ribbon by placing 6th in MIG welding.
