2014 "Shop With A Cop" Was A Huge Success In Chadron
(Chadron)-The Chadron Police Department would like to say “Thank You” to the generous citizens, local businesses, and organizations for their support with the 2014 “Shop with a Cop” program, making it another successful year. Because of your kindness, many children within our community experienced a merry Christmas.
The program was able to serve 202 kids, with cash donations, non-cash donations, food, gift cards, and toys, totaling approximately $8,073.64. "We are truly a great community of people that is willing to help out others," says Police Cheif Tim Lordino.
The Chadron Police Department is still taking donations. These donations will be used during the 2015 “Shop with a Cop” fund raising campaign. Donations can also be brought or mailed to the Chadron Police Department located at 125 Main Street in Chadron.
