This Tuesday, January 13th, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium we will host our annual senior college financial aid meeting. This meeting will primarily focus on preparing for college, financial aid, and completing the FAFSA. There will be snacks and refreshments available in the high school commons both prior and following the presentation for any families to stay and ask additional questions.
6:30 p.m. Financial Aid Presentation by Education Quest (they will explain the FAFSA and
the difference between various forms of aid such as scholarships, grants, and
loans. They will also schedule individual appointments to help fill out and file the
FAFSA with financial aid professionals.
The FAFSA is how your student will qualify for federal financial aid. When you complete the FAFSA you will use 2014 income from you completed tax return. This process can be a little daunting the first time you complete it so let us help you. Please plan on having your senior attend the meeting as well as any other family members you see fit.
