Shop With A Cop - Donations Requested
Happy Holidays!!!!!
The Chadron Police Department is starting our 15th annual fundraiser for Shop with a Cop. For anyone
not familiar with the program, all donations received will be used to provide clothing, food, Christmas
presents, etc. to our local school children who are less fortunate. We need money to make this program
successful. We are raising money in a number of ways.

Donations can be delivered to the high school office, or dropped off at the police department. All
donations should be made no later than Monday December 16, 2019. Checks can be made out to “Shop
with a Cop.”

FFA Competes in Leadership Development Events

The Chadron FFA chapter starts the new year off strong in the November competitions! A total of 13
members competed and everyone involved ribboned. The November competitions are LDE’s or
Leadership Development Events held at Chadron State College, Chadron High School, and the Dawes
County Fairgrounds each year. Each one involves some sort of public speaking in front of judges. These
competitions consisted of FFA Creed speaking, Junior public speaking, Senior public speaking,
Cooperative speaking, Natural Resources speaking, Extemporaneous speaking, Employment Skills, Ag
Demonstration, Conduct of Chapter Meetings, and Parliamentary Procedure. Those members who
competed, their event, and their ribbon placement is as follows:
