Public Officials Visit Chadron Schools

Congressman Smith visiting with CHS Seniors
It has been quite the week with public officials visiting Chadron Public Schools. Monday, Congressman Adrian Smith stopped at Chadron High School to visit with our Seniors. Government teacher, Craig Nobiling, scheduled this opportunity for seniors to ask questions in regards to politics, legislation, and presidential elections.

Tuesday, Governor Dave Heineman, Senator Greg Smith, and Commissioner of Education Dr. Roger Breed flew into Chadron to visit with educators, students, parents, and other administrators to dialogue about what makes Chadron Public Schools successful. The Governor picked several schools to visit this fall to find success strategies that could be shared with other schools in the state. The group was also interested to hear what obstacles schools are currently facing in education.
