Once again, the Chadron FFA team makes a strong appearance in the district competitions. On January 8th, four different teams traveled to WNCC in Scottsbluff to compete in the first CDE of the year. The CDE, Career Development Event, teams consisted of Welding, Floriculture, Ag Sales, and Livestock Management. Out of the four teams, two are going to state to represent the Chadron chapter. Ag Sales - (one placement away from state taking fourth as a team: highest ever!) 45 contestants

Floriculture - (3rd as a team, qualifying for state!) 72 contestants

Livestock Management - (first as a team, also taking first in the sheep and swine species: qualifying for state)
