I want to express our thanks to Chadron State College for their assistance in removing about 3 inches of snow off of our game field the morning of our playoff game. Chadron High School was fortunate to host the defending state champion and current top ranked team in the state, Norfolk Catholic on November 2nd. The CSC staff of Brad Smith, Blair Brennan and Brian Enos arrived early in the morning to sweep and plow our field. The field conditions at game time were fine, the field was soft but not deep with mud thanks to CSC. Chadron lost the game 35-13 after closing to within a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
